I AM JANE DOE
Jane Doe is the name we give her when we don't know her name. She's the case number, the police report, the headline we scroll past. She is every woman whose story got filed away.
I AM JANE DOE exists to change the ending of that story.
"ME TOO. NO MORE." are not separate statements. They are one sentence uniting — the past, the present, and the actions that ends both. Our seal carries the words "I AM JANE DOE" around its edge because honesty is the starting point of change.
My story is personal, but it is not unique. Like so many women, I am a survivor of sexual assault, and like so many women, I have endured the everyday entitlement of men's bad behavior. I built this brand because we can support more survivors with our voice and our dollars. A portion of every sale is donated to causes that protect women against violence.
But let's be clear about the finish line: supporting victims is only the beginning. The goal is to stop the violence.
Every piece we make is a declaration you can wear. We launch in October for a reason. Domestic Violence Awareness Month is when the country briefly remembers. We intend to make it impossible to forget.
